The Teatro Regio di Parma runs its own guided visits, Tuesday to Sunday, for up to 20 people at a time. They last about 30 minutes and cost EUR 12, and no booking platform sells them: you pay at the theatre, at Strada Garibaldi 16/a.

How much does a Teatro Regio guided tour cost?

EUR 12 full price, EUR 8 reduced and EUR 3 for under-18s; children under 6 go free. You pay at the theatre, not online.

Prices from Parma Welcome, the city's tourist office, checked in September 2026. The reduced ticket also applies if you have visited the Casa della Musica, the city's music museum, so the two make a good pair.

When are the Teatro Regio guided visits?

Every hour, Tuesday to Saturday 9:30 to 12:30 and 14:30 to 17:00, and Sunday 10:00 to 16:00. There are no visits on Mondays.

Rehearsals come first: times change with rehearsals and performances, so a slot can move at short notice.

How long is the visit, and how many people go?

About 30 minutes, with at most 20 people in each group. Groups of 20 or more must book ahead.

Do you need to book the Teatro Regio visit?

Not on your own or in a small group: buy your ticket at the theatre. Groups of 20 or more must book, and anyone can call on the day to check the times.

What do you see on the guided visit?

The public heart of the theatre: the foyer, the horseshoe hall with its stalls and four tiers of boxes, the royal box, the painted ceiling, the chandelier and the gallery, as far as the stage schedule allows that day.

Can you go backstage at the Teatro Regio?

On request, for small groups of at least 2 people. Ask the visits office in advance; it depends on what is happening on stage.

The standard 30-minute visit stays front of house. Backstage visits are arranged separately, so email [email protected] with your date and group size, and keep a plan B, because a rehearsal can close the stage.
